Dallas has great food
One of the greatest things about running photo workshops in Dallas, Texas is all of the food! Dallas has one of the highest restaurant per capita rates in the USA. BBQ, steak houses, Mongolian grills, delis, pasta, seafood, Tex-Mex, burgers, wings … you name it. I had a great time finding new restaurants. I think I gained ten pounds! Here’s a small sample of some meals.

Crawfish and shrimp pot.

Texas BBQ with a Big Red soda.

Pappa's BBQ. Great food. Messy fingers.

Mongolian Grill.
Off to Dallas for Workshops
I’m in Dallas Texas to lead workshops with the Nikonians Academy. The 100 degree temperature here is quickly reminding me why I live in Washington State! The workshop venue is pretty close to a big concentration of restaurants and one of them, Pappasito’s Cantina, had the perfect remedy for a hot day … pink lemonade! I think Pappasitos is my new favorite restaurant chain. Good, fresh, plentiful food at a great price.

Here's the Guadalajara plate. Too much for me to eat!
