Ever wonder how to setup your camera’s menus for the best shot? I’ve been making Nikon camera setup guides for years, and have just posted a setup guide for the Nikon D600.

Here’s the direct link to the D600 PDF download: Nikon D600 Menu Settings Guide

Here’s a link to the page with PDF downloads for all the popular Nikon DSLR cameras: Nikon Camera Setup Guides.

They are available for free as a PDF download, or you can send in $6.50 and we’ll mail you a laminated guide for your camera bag. Just order from the setup guides store page.

    Hello,
I very much enjoy your setup guides. I have a D600 and had one Question.

In the Portrait / wedding setup.

    External controls
    Focus Pattern is 21 Point
    Auto Focus mode is AF-S

my camera when set to AF-S will only focus on a single point or Auto I cannot set it to 21 Point when in AF-S

Can you help me with this??

    Regards

    A M

    Anthony –

Thanks for the question. You are correct. The camera can only be set for single point autofocus in AF-S mode. I’ll change the setup guide right away.

Do you know of anyone who has a program or app to print off a D600 settings file in readable format?

    Hi Mike –

The closest I think you can get is to purchase Nikon Camera Control Pro, then edit the settings on your computer. I’m not aware of anything that will allow us to print out the settings from the camera in a readable format.
